If I would not have DX11 & DX12 games, I would only use #linuxmint desktop on my PC, and left Windows 11 behind. Approximately Steam library one fifth runs on #linux as well. Soon it will be better n better as having alternates: Vulkan, OpenGL. This is the only disadvantage remains for me. Every app has alternate or web PWA or whatever solution.
#NVK news: Support for DRM format modifiers has landed & will be part of the upcoming Mesa 24.1 release It's last piece required to support GameScope and is important to making Zink+NVK a robust #OpenGL solution. Read more: http://col.la/drmnvk#NVIDIA#Vulkan#OpenSource
Von A.Henkel.

As far I read on internet and benchnatks, If you have a working #Vulkan, the average performance between Windows and #Wine (proton) is equal. That means also, there cases where a Windows Games performs beter on a Linux with proton.
I assume the cause is also that some gamedeveloper enhance a game for steam deck also.
I propose to retest your case again.
I know SPIR-V is not meant for human readability and all that, but damn. Is there not any way that the variables were named anything closer to useful than %13525? I understand that it's not a one-to-one match with my glsl variables, but like... This feels like it's actively trying to obfuscate the code 🥲
Maybe there's some glslang option I don't know about that tries to make them a bit clearer?
