In 2015, Nepal was hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake. Durbar Square in Kathmandu (which is full of temples and palaces and is a Unesco world heritage site) was abdolutely wrecked by the earthquake. I visited in 2022 and there were still buildings that were 100% leveled and buldings that were being propped up to keep them from falling over.

I will always remember all of the religious pilgrims there and the occasional goat staked out next to a temple.

The Notre Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral was dedicated to the Virgin Mary between the 13th and 15th centuries. In 1988, the Strasbourg Cathedral was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. I visited in 2019.

Previously unknown Indo-European language discovered in Turkey ~ Scientists have discovered a fragment of a new Indo-European language preserved in the ancient Hittite capital of Boğazköy-Hattusha.

DavidOlmsted,

@TheWildHuntNews You report on this questionable conclusion yet you are not reporting on the significant discoveries and translations of Runic texts in Europe starting with the Minoans. They show that a common Pagan culture existed prior to the Indo-Europeans. This is the culture of the Neolithic farmers. Their Akkadian language survived until about 1300 in the Nordic lands. All those runestones are in Alphabetic Akkadian. https://www.druidwisdom.org/ancient-druid-rune-text-translations/new-history-of-alphabet

I took this last year, while I was traveling the Golden Triangle. The Taj Mahal was built between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife.
