But the more I think of it, the more I think there is something here; I understand his economic analysis of the shortcomings, but I think regulatory #capitalism could shape markets to make this work better than he believes.
My #NewYear wish is that I'd really like to see IPPR or another #thinktank have a go at modelling the regulatory environment that could make this work....

It wasn't just the #Obama administration. #Thinktank & #academia people like #FionaHil, whom I greatly respect & admire, at the time were also parroting the #Russia escalation dominance fears as a reason for #Washington to be cautious with regard to aiding #Ukraine. It's worth mentioning Dr. Hill seems to have recently revised her views on #Putin.
