Warum hat das #Stadtradeln keine Schnittstelle zu #Strava? Warum nicht wenigstens einen #GPX-Import? Warum kann man zum Tracken nur die schraddelige App auf dem Smartphone nutzen? Es könnte alles so einfach sein.
About 10 years ago, before fitness trackers and smartwatches were a thing, there were apps that simply plotted the path that you traveled on a map (e.g. #Strava).
If you want to track an activity that involves moving around, such as walking, jogging, running or cycling there is an app on F-Droid called #OpenTracks. It tracks the distance, elevation and time for each activity. It can show the traveled path on an #OpenStreetMap app like #OrganicMaps and also plot graphs.
Earned my #HalfMarathon PR today on the beautiful #SammamishRiverTrail (SRT): time 1:48:25 pace 8'16”/mile according to #Strava. My watch again generously claims time was 1:42:49. I picked Strava to be the record.
Temp feels like 50F, dew point 47F, cloudy w/ breeze 3.2mph SW. In other words, perfect weather to get PR!

@WTL@recollir I think I have only myslef to blame: 10k = 6.21317 miles, and I stopped the watch at 6.20, and that’s what my watch recorded, but #Strava reported 6.21 (?), and neither recognized it’s a 10K run…
More bizarre to me is how Strava interprets the elevation gain: see below from my recent #halfMarathon PR run. The route is pretty flat, so my #AppleWatch is definitely the correct one. Funny thing is this doesn't happen every time. Any idea?
@WTL@recollir Right after posting this, I noticed after tapping the three dot icon on the upper right in #Strava, I got this option “adjust elevation”. This appeared to fix the problem, although the result still doesn’t match #Applewatch’s.
First big group ride this year with local cycling group Charles River Wheelers (CRW).
Rode through some very wealthy suburban towns (Dover is the wealthiest town in Massachusetts with median household income of $250k+)
Very fast paced group. Started with the 2nd group (15-16mph pace) but caught the first group (17-18mph pace) shortly after. I stayed with the first group and average speed of this ride is 17.9mph!

The fitness score metric on Strava is completely bogus and useless. Seriously, it is garbage. It means absolutely nothing and they should just get rid of it.
teufel noch eins, was für ne woche. da war pause kritisch wichtig. stausee auf der karte entdeckt, zuerst gedacht ich hätte mich geirrt (siehe strava), dann gedacht ich käm nich ran (siehe vorhin), dann haben mir nette menschen den weggebauten weg gewiesen :)

@milan aber falls du Strava nutzt wäre es cool, wenn deine GPS-Traces sichtbar wären. Sind immer sehr hilfreich beim einzeichnen von Wegen, die auf Luftbildern schlecht erkennbar sind.
Wie bescheuert ist das denn:
Ich zeichne eine Radfahrt mit einem Radcomputer auf und lade die Daten auf Strava hoch. Und obwohl Strava keinerlei eigene Aufzeichnung gemacht hat, unterscheiden sich ALLE Daten voneinander, bis hin zur verstrichenen Zeit.
Wasn das fürn Mist?
