CDC found one virus from a cow with a marker known to be associated with reduced susceptibility to the neuraminidase inhibitors (a change at NA-T438I). This change has been seen rarely in the past in H5N1 viruses isolated from wild birds and poultry.
Interesting article about noise sensitivity. Very recognizable. I couldn't live without my noise-cancelling headphones and earbuds anymore. They've made my life less stressful.

I love this quote from Margaret Lee "Don't let your organization's panty lines show in your #UX". It's a bit quirky but funny and makes a valuable point.
I'd like to include this quote in a talk, but it seems VERY unwise for me, an old white male, to do that. I could just reword the sentiment but that feels like stealing. I want honor Margaret and her insight.
I'm looking for guidance. Is there a way forward? Guys, just pause for a bit, I'd appreciate female replies first
@actuallyautistic I'm fussy about clothes being comfortable. The trend over the last decade towards slim jeans makes finding blue jeans that don't hug my thighs and ride up (and ride the waist down) a challenge, so I'm happy to recommend:
Levis 569 Loose-Straight jeans are about as close to JNCOs as you can reasonably get in business-casual-appropriate jeans and look/feel like you're wearing baggy jeans.
Also can recommend "Hustle” variant Pair of Thieves boxers.
Once a week, I pull a lateral move and go for a walk without notice cancelling close-back headphones, and, when taken in in small doses, the sonic assault of the urban cacophony can be almost enjoyed for its complexity, like a pinball for mindfulness.
I've got an epic fantasy in the brainstorming/research stages, original world, main character is an Isekai'd Jewish woman, main culture is semi-nomadic horse culture, mainly modeled off of Great Mongol Nation circa Chinggis Khan and Empire of Iran and non-Iran circa Khusrau the Just.
I'm especially interested in sensitivity take from a Mongolian person because I know a lot of traditional culture survives there and don't want to accidentally be an ass or appropriate, but someone familiar with both cultures would be awesome, or worst case someone from other horse and/or nomadic cultures to look for general problems.
