It was wonderful talking to and with Professor Gonzalez-Rivas's class about #Poe's poetry. We focused on "The Bells" and "Dream-Land," and the students were thoroughly engaged and their knowledge broad. Lots of other authors came up, including #Ginsberg, #Pynchon, and #morrison There seems to be a tradition -- a lovely one -- in Europe, and perhaps elsewhere (though not in the US) of giving speakers certificates like this.
