Diving into a scene I'm quite unfamiliar with here, #PostPunk. There's some stuff I was expecting, like shouty lyrics and garage band aesthetics, but what's this? Synths right out the gate? Not really #NewWave, tho' I do get Gary Numan vibes at times. Some primitive #Dub production too.
Really, this debut sounds like the band's throwing a lot of different things out there, still searching for a core identity. Potential is greatly hinted at.
