Hallo Tröties mir fehlt so ein wenig die Vernetzung der deutschsprachigen Zeichner*Innenszene hier, aus den Bereichen:#Comic,#Manga,#Fanart,#OC,#fantasy... . Was haltet ihr von dem Vorschlag einen gemeinsamen Hashtag dafür zu erstellen? Und hättet ihr da vielleicht eine Idee welches Wort wir nutzen könnten? Irgendwas das mit "-de endet.
Here on #dRBB we think of #OC as an original content, or an original creation. Think the entire process of production, from start to finish: can you call this your own work? If preview or anything that sits in the thread you're posting contains copyrighted work of someone else, it's most likely just an adaptation/repost and as such you cannot claim it as OC.
OC threads have this small mark prepended to the title to set it apart from other works. Traditionally, OCs get more liberty from the discovery algorythms. I'm not entirely sure how it works on #Kbin, compared to #Reddit, but in any situation think of the reader first and algorythm second.
If the piece you're about to share was made by you and you only, don't hesitate and mark it as the original content! But avoid using OC mark for discussion starters, as they don't prove substantial enough of a work as such...
Decided to do an #OCtober thread myself, except it's all old art from 7 years ago, because I have no time (didn't even edit out the old urls!) and hey, a lot of the art I did? I still like!

Oh maaannn. This is the short story that I’d love to go back and redo it again with more page counts, but also the only one that currently makes me cringe. I had bought Manga Studio for the first time when I was drawing it for TOKYOPOP’s Rising Stars of Manga contest (before I knew better, yikes!) and well, it’s where you can tell I was still trying to figure out how to draw in the dang program 8| Look at those faces, yee…
The story’s a bit “oh” in that embarrassing way, since it’s about an interfaith couple in World War II Germany. Hah. Hahahahahaha. I’m a sucker for those kinds of stories but in hindsight, even with all the research I did, it still reads weird and possibly preachy. At least I didn’t glorify anything like most romances in this setting do. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ But yes, they met and got interested in each other because of books. They have the same tastes in common :) That’s partially why I’d like to come back to it; I’d like to build up on that a lot more.

OC What's the intended purpose behind the "OC" check box when making a new article?
I'm a little unclear on the purpose of this. I see some folks using it and other's not using it for similar content....
