Well, we finally finished Leisure Suit Larry 1 Enhanced on the A500. We are missing quite a few points, but so be it.
Next up will be LSL2 -- does ANYONE know of an Amiga release OTHER than 1.003, which is missing the MT32 driver? The one from SQ3 doesn't seem to work... #sierraonline#retrogaming#mt32
Earlier tonight, I was surprised to learn that the 1990 EGA version of the original "Secret of Monkey Island" needs a separate Roland-Upgrade (DISK09.LEC) to support MT-32 music. A feature, that came as standard with the VGA version. Oh, well... this should only have been a quick Google search, but unfortunately, the LucasArts FTP server closed down years ago.
Luckily, after a few hours of research, I found out the Way-Back-Machine holds a complete index of all these updates and patches from 1999 and I eventually also discovered a complete FTP site grab from 2013! I'm so glad someone made the effort to preserve these files!
