Ce soir, à côté de ma fille qui tombait doucement dans le sommeil, j'ai fini La Promesse du Sang, premier tome des Poudremages et premier roman a priori de Brian McClelland. C'est mon 20eme livre de 2023.
Il y avait du bon et du moins bon, mais je pense que le livre a deux problèmes essentiels :
L'absence d'arc de personnage correct.
Il sert à 80% à préparer la suite et ça se sent.
Mais c'était rigolo, je n'ai pas tranché quant à l'acquisition du tome 2.

Le Puit de l'Ascension, le deuxième tome de la saga Fils-des-Brumes de Brandon Sanderson.
C'était bien.
Il me faut le tome 3 rapidement.
J'avais déjà lu le premier tome plus tôt dans l'année, et je pense qu'on peut totalement se dire qu'interpreter Sanderson sous le prisme de Star Wars est correct. Le premier tome est A New Hope, celui a pas mal de point commun avec The Empire Strikes Back.
