Al Jourgensen Admits Ministry's End Is Near - 'We've Perfected Our Genre'
Al Jourgensen discusses Ministry's new album, 'HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES,' and what the future holds for the band he created in 1981.
@SuitedUpDev nvm my music app went and played the whole album for me, and so far the album where Take This Life is from has so much good songs- I'm in the third song rn and it still sounds so good! Help!! 😭😭😭😭
But, recommendations nice... You might wanna check out DevilDriver. Personally I am a big fan of their older works like "Clouds over California". Other than that, I am drawing blanks rn 😅

Ministry released their fourth album, “The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste”
Another move towards the industrial metal sound they’d become known for, this time with lots of guitars. In the 80s, they were a new wave synth pop band.
Their previous record, 1988’s “The Land of Rape And Honey” introduced a much more aggressive metal sound, though with more sampling and less guitar.
They toured a lot in support of this album, and iirc, the industrial metal sound was ascendent at this time (e.g. Pretty Hate Machine came out a month prior and was building a fan base).
