Looking at my top picks for meaning I am struck by their bittersweet nature. This one predates my discovery of Trance; from the height of my interest in Industry.
I don't know how many times this went into my car's CD player after a hard day of work.

Al Jourgensen Admits Ministry's End Is Near - 'We've Perfected Our Genre'
Al Jourgensen discusses Ministry's new album, 'HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES,' and what the future holds for the band he created in 1981.
Last Monday, while I was waiting for another female fronted band to start playing (Culk, go and check them out too), they put an extremely interesting playlist. I saved one song from it and this is my first contribution today:
From a concert, to another concert like if it were the goose game. However, while Culk was on the dreamy, ethereal side, my next gig is not only also female fronted but also "mosh-material"

Ministry released their fourth album, “The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste”
Another move towards the industrial metal sound they’d become known for, this time with lots of guitars. In the 80s, they were a new wave synth pop band.
Their previous record, 1988’s “The Land of Rape And Honey” introduced a much more aggressive metal sound, though with more sampling and less guitar.
They toured a lot in support of this album, and iirc, the industrial metal sound was ascendent at this time (e.g. Pretty Hate Machine came out a month prior and was building a fan base).
I'm so excited 🤩 I have the honour of being an advanced listener of the new album by Jessica B. Kelly & The Void Conspiracy
I'll post a review of the new album in the next few days on the @SmilodonMetallicum account.
The album will be released at the end of November, but if you can't wait until then you should go check out Jessica's music website, and Mastodon account.
I can only find their latest album ‘Generation Lost’ from 2023 online.
It says they started out in 2014 as a goth n roll (?) project. They apparently went through some reinvention. I still think you can hear the gothyness in their newest album. What do you think @Kitty
RACKETS AND DRAPES
"Love Lettters From Hell" [2002]
A great Electro/Goth/Industrial sound full of sadistic sex lyrics from the darkest perspective. I think that's the most controvertial album from the band. #Goth#Gothic#Industrial#IndustrialMetal#KandyKane#RacketsNDrapes
Woah...
Rackets & Drapes recent album "Chapter One: Welcome Home" (2022) is so great! Super aggressive Goth/Industrial sound to listen many times. My favorite after "Love Letters From Hell" ! #Goth#Gothic#Industrial#IndustrialMetal#KandyKane#RacketsNDrapes
