I have a handful of hard disks I'd like to logically "shred". (Not NSA proof, but normal-person proof.).
These are all USB powered (some via a USB to SATA adapter).
What software do I use on Debian with which to do so? Last time I did that was with dd(1), but I'm thinking in 30 years tech might have improved a bit. ;-)
