Friends, last night I discovered you can share the music you are playing on Spotify via FaceTime and it will play for the other person as well. Even though @cara is traveling this weekend, I was able to share my music and dancing with her while cooking dinner. Went to the coast yesterday for my son’s birthday. It was perfectly cloudy and cool. The Oregon coast is stunningly beautiful, and I got to hang with my family. That was a good day.
Just had the most amazing night out with some great friends at Rockpool! The food was absolutely incredible, and the drinks were flowing all night long. We laughed, chatted, and had an all-around fantastic time. Huge shoutout to our awesome friends for making it a night to remember. So, three weeks into a new contract and I feel I'm up to speed with the code architecture and requirements of the system as a whole.
Completed a major piece of functionality and assisted with the mentoring of the two junior developers.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with how it's gone, which is good because I'm flying off for some summer sun on Monday and I'm not leaving anything half done.
