TIL: the biometric picture stored in the chip of my Dutch passport is a 449x599 pixels JPEG2000 file. And you can extract it with your NFC enabled mobile phone (in my case an iPhone 13 using the ReadID me app)

@jwildeboer nice.

Cuz I do use 4kbit keys but plan to upgrade to 8kbit sooner than later...

Sadly support for 16kbit and above is at best untested if not completely unavailable.

I currently run a test trying to generate a 256kBit key but that takes already half a week so I'm not shure if the tool I'm using (#enc) can even handle that keysize...

A little personal post I should propably pin:

Don't sent me any links/invites to , / or whatever sites/services.

I WILL IGNORE THEM!

If you want to contact me, you'll find all the info you want on my profile.

To protect against , all messages/eMails get automatically filtered as junk on server-side.

If you want a reply, add your to those.

Thanks for your attention!

@eatyourglory use a good eMail client like @thunderbird that makes it trivial or consider some easy-to-use tools like to do so manually.

Pretty shure @cryptoparty and other accounts still have slides and available.

I'm currently on the go, so I have none of those available...

Whilst I work on 's aka. / , I'm thinking about the other, more featureful versions.
https://github.com/OS-1337/OS1337/tree/main/docu/ideas

Besides a to launch a version there are a lot of tools I'd love to support:

  1. a Package Manager so people can just install & update shit easily:
    https://github.com/OS-1337/spm

  2. Good default Configs for a System like NTP & DNS Servers unless those are being offered per DHCP.
    https://github.com/OS-1337/conf.d

kkarhan,
@kkarhan@mstdn.social avatar
  1. A repo that includes said built binaries as packages:
    https://github.com/OS-1337/pkgs

  2. Additional useful and vital packages to make OS/1337 a useable -based OS.

Stuff like:

And a plethera of other tools that are quite essential...
https://github.com/OS-1337/OS1337/blob/main/docu/ideas/packages.list.tsv

So help is appreciated...
