We love nature, even one located under a glass roof. This is a huge strelitzia (our favorite houseplant), commonly known as the Bird of Paradise Plant. I took this photo in Amsterdam, at one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world called Hortus Botanicus, which was founded in 1638. 🪴🪴🪴

Canals in Amsterdam are the most iconic places of this city, many calls this city the Venice of the north and I can confirm it's true! 🥰

When, in the 1920s, the Carel Coenraad polder was constructed this desolate area housed workers in barracks. In #ww2 the German army moved in artillery and solders. In that time local Dutch workers (including my granddad) were "unhappily employed" here to do further development work on the land creation.
