🇸🇮☕️🥐 Sunday morning, one of the best things to do starting in #Vienna🇦🇹 is a decent breakfast at the #SŽ🇸🇮 #diningcar with EC 151 "Emona". Today with the vintage "WRl" restaurant carriage, beautiful round table lamps, #FensterAuf, curtains and a cosy atmosphere... Nothing else needed 😍!

🇦🇹🌅🍽 The beautiful Saturday afternoon #diningcar trip continues with a solid and classy fully-fledged #ÖBB🇦🇹 WRmz restaurant car with EC 107 "Porta Moravica" 🤩. This special train from #Przemyśl🇵🇱 to #Graz🇦🇹 comes also with a Swiss panorama car 😍. While slurping a Tyrolean farmer's dish from cornmeal with cranberry sauce I enjoyed a dark violet-red sunset! Fantastic!

🇨🇿🍽🍺 It's Railjet №256 "Vindobona" today for a nice Saturday afternoon excursion. What a nice relation from #Graz🇦🇹 to #Berlin🇩🇪 via #Vienna🇦🇹 and #Prague🇨🇿. The stay at the #ČD🇨🇿 #diningcar was a pleasure, even though the delicious "Kukuřičné placky", corn🌽 pancakes with cheddar cheese🧀, bean salad & root beet dip together with a freshly tapped lager was served in diaposable plastic tableware. What a wonderful day 😍!

🇭🇺🍴 A spontaneous after-work trip to the 7th biggest city of #Hungary🇭🇺. It was EC 149 "Hortobágy" from #Vienna🇦🇹 to #Győr🇭🇺 with a wonderful fully-fledged #MÁV🇭🇺 #diningcar and a delicious meal with a vegan🌱 Indian chickpea ragu🍛 with rice as well as "Császármorzsa", shredded pancakes for dessert 😍!

🇦🇹🚂🚃🍽🚃🚃 A trip to #Ostrava🇨🇿 is a perfect treat for a sunny Christmas holidays day. We took EC 106 "Porta Moravica" and had a delicious "Kaiser Frühstück", a breakfast for Emperors 😉 at the - otherwise rather empty - #ÖBB🇦🇹 "DoNs" #diningcar 😍. Wonderful trip!

Tonight, the use of #DeutscheBahn #DiningCar|s in loco-hauled trains will come to a close. Time to take a last look back: #DB 🇩🇪 #AutoZug car-carrying trains used to have a @diningcar included in their consist. This one, seen at #Hamburg-Altona in Juli 2006 (WRmh 132.1 number 61 80 88-70 101-5 - for the nerds), comes in “Produktfarben” livery (orient-red, pastel-violet). The train is bound for #Rijeka 🇭🇷, via #Villach 🇦🇹.

🇩🇪☕️ Good by my dear old friend #DB🇩🇪 "Bordbistro", you were the reason why I started my "#diningcar"-journey back in 2018. With #Timetablechange2023 next week, these carriages will be discontinued. On this trip, nothing available today, besides some black "Kaffee" on EC216 "Dachstein" from #Graz🇦🇹 to #Selzthal🇦🇹... Meanwhile to the outside, heavy snowfall and a #winterwonderland❄️.

🇭🇺🥂🥳 Happy 75th birthday #Utaselláto! On Nov. 24th 1948, Hungary's state railway catering company was established. On this occasion a one-day jubilee exhibition with e.g. 10 different #diningcar.s from the last century opened at beautiful #Budapest🇭🇺 Keleti station. It was a great day😍!

🇦🇹🚄🍽 An evening concert in #Linz is a wonderful opportunity to give some of the #ÖBB🇦🇹 #diningcar's autumn🍂 menu items a try on RJX168.
1️⃣ beef broth with semolina dumplings
2️⃣ autumnal mushroom goulash with potato dumplings
3️⃣ shredded poppyseed pancake with Amaretto-sour cherry ragout 😍

🇦🇹🚂🚃🚃🇭🇷 Good bye EC 158/159 "Croatia". For the time being, this is the 3rd to last direct #Eurocity-service between the Austrian🇦🇹 capital #Vienna & the Croatian🇭🇷 capital #Zagreb. The #ÖBB🇦🇹 class 1016 030 "Mausbär" is working the train. Cheers🍻 everyone, you'll find me at the wonderful fully-fledged ÖBB #diningcar 😍!

🇦🇹🥐☕️ This was a wonderful brunch at RJ860's @unsereOEBB🇦🇹 #diningcar. We went from #Vienna🇦🇹 to #Vöcklabruck while enjoying a delicious "Emperor's breakfast" and sweet curd cheese dumplings with buttered breadcrumbs & stewed apricots 🤩😋!

Das #Oculus ist mehr als nur die #PATH Station vom World Trade Center. Hier geht es auch direkt zu vielen Subway-Linien und natürlich Einkaufszentren. Laut Wikipedia waren die Amerikaner über die Baukostenüberschreitungen so erbost, dass Stararchitekt #Calatrava keine Aufträge mehr in den USA bekam.

We had a wonderful trip with #DB🇩🇪 ICE 620 from #Nuremberg🇩🇪 to beautiful #Frankfurt🇩🇪 main train station, including a Curry coconut Soup & a vegan "planted" chicken paprika-lemon🍋 with rice🍚 at the "Bordrestaurant"! 😍

🇩🇪🚄☕🥐 Another railway trip, another #diningcar experience. This time @DB_Bahn🇩🇪 ICE 26 from #Passau🇩🇪 to #Nuremberg🇩🇪 with wonderful views, a beautiful "Bordrestaurant" and sadly a limited supply. But croissant🥐 & cappuccino☕ was nevertheless nice 😍👍!
