There are 20 paintings in the Roihu exhibition, and I will post one a day (if there aren't flying cats around). The exhibition is open until October 29, 2023.
Today's painting is titled Lost Grove (acrylic on stretched canvas, 120 cm x 100 cm, 2023).
The Oulu University botanical garden is nearby, and the pyramid greenhouses are a favourite of the kids. I used photographs from inside a greenhouse looking out (to the rest of the garden) to paint this composition:
Seeing the larkspur blooming really tall, in a spot that I didn't deliberately plant any, reminded me of the painting I made in 2015. Maybe just a tad abstracted.

A close look at the bits that make up Lilium II. I like to think of it as a preview of summer. I splurged on some purple dianthus for the garden - I will have to paint them, to keep them "fresh" forever.
