I don't know if this can be done with 128K only OR even with the standard ZX 48K .. anybody knows how do they get more colours per attribute cell ? There are certain "modern games" that look they have like different colours in a 4x4 cell instead of 8x8 That should be impossible and from what you see is very cpu intensive. You could time scanlines but that doesn't explain the 4x4 .. anyone knows how is done ?

This is exactly #Perl’s use case from thirty-six years ago. But the kids want #JavaScript everywhere and would rather it take more work to convert their ascended #Bash scripts to a vastly different syntax.
