This month's Ten Pence Arcade featured game is Super Hang-On from #Sega in 1987.
The ride-on cabinet was pretty tempting and I often played it in the wild back in the day.
I'm playing the challenge on the #misterfpga arcade core via the #mistercade. Playing with the joystick is sub-optimal but it's a great game.
Back in the 90s, I played it most on the #amiga version which, like the #megadrive, was excellent. The Amiga version had mouse control as an option which simulated the analog handlebars really well, despite the cognitive dissonance.
I started playing #NoMansSky for the first time recently and I was impressed. It's got a really potent mix of sandbox and exploration that's backed by a ton of content. One of favorite activities is finding derelict ships and fixing them up, but that's just one of many different ways to advance your character.
Also, even after seeing it dozens of times, the transition from a planet's atmosphere to space still feels like magic.

Teardown is a pretty satisfying heist game that makes you feel clever. The key mechanism is that, after the first few missions, all of the things you need to steal are attached to an alarm system. You need to plan out your grab-and-run path carefully (taking as much time as you need) and then sprint for it (with the clock ticking).

Todas las versiones son idénticas ya que el aspecto gráfico del juego no era tan importante para el desarrollo del mismo si bien cumple perfectamente con la función de ambiéntación de los sitios que visitamos.
La propia dinámica del juego hace que sea muy fácil que nos maten ya que la dificultad es alta en comparación con otros juegos similares.
