@gamingonlinux It would be cool if eventually Luxtorpeda could be updated with this, it'd be awesome to have a native engine for the original Deus Ex on Linux.
Here's a recent music release I've been enjoying: Unreal Tournament Redux, a 2-hour long full album of remixes of the Unreal Tournament 1999 soundtrack. It's free to download, too!
I was a huge fan of the original UT, and its soundtrack, which was a fast-paced techno/acid sort of thing, perfect for running around and blasting your friends into bloody pieces. Ahhhh, I miss the days of modding that game.
Absolutely: 1000%. But it's a shame game AI seems to have peaked around the Millennium and hasn't improved since.
Playing Unreal Tournament ('99) and trying-and-failing to beat Xan Kreigor on the highest skill levels still feels like peak Computer-Braining. And he/It was only unbeatable because it cheated like a MF, given the ability to see the player through walls and rock-solid aim-assist.
Poor/Laughable AI has been a Gamer's lament ever since Multiplayer gaming took off and companies realised it was cheaper to plug in a human mind than try and recreate one. AI is haaaaarrrd.
