Scattered severe storms with large hail up to baseball size,
damaging winds of 60-75 mph, and a couple of tornadoes are expected
this afternoon into tonight from west into central Texas. More
isolated severe storms will be possible today from the Red River

Houston: "“A lot of people are without power again. We just got through with the derecho a couple of weeks ago, which was extremely devastating and many are still trying to recover from,” Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, the top elected official in the county home to Houston, said in a video posted on social media late Tuesday."
A TVS is a signature, or indication, of a potential #tornado. It is basically an indication of strong wind shear (or changing wind direction) in a very small area associated with potential tornadic circulation within a thunderstorm. A TVS is no guarantee a tornado will form, but definitely a strong indication that one may soon develop, or already has.
