J'avais dit que pour mon boulot de mise en page je laissais tomber la suite #adobe pour passer sur #krita , #inkscape et #scribus . Je faisais tourner mon iMac sur Linux Mint à partir d'un disque externe.
Ich hab heute Abend mit dem Layout für #Lindwyrm angefangen und nutze doch #Scribus
Nachdem ich für #AbenteuerlichesMittelerde auch Scribus verwendet und mich eingearbeitet hatte, klappte es recht gut. Ich hab keine Lust, für Affinity Publisher immer nach Windows zu wechseln und unter Linux krieg ich das Ding mit Wine und Konsorten nicht zum Laufen.
So it's finally happened. I'm tired of ☠️-ing Adobe software. With its shift to AI and other dubious practices I'm finally switching to #FOSS alternatives.
For photoshop I'm using #Krita; Illustrator, #Inkscape, tho now I'm looking for an indesign alternative. So far #Scribus seems the most popular. And I might have to get a free trial of indesign to export my existing books into XML format 🙃

Allez, c'est décidé, pour le prochain bouquin je prends #Scribus à la place de #InDesign ! C'est un gros défi, je vais sans doute grogner mais ça tourne mieux sur mon vieux Mac et après quelques tests hier soir, j'ai réussit à le comprendre un peu.
Fingerprinting-Testseiten suggerieren oft, dass man eindeutig erkennbar ist. Das ist allerdings nicht entscheidend, sondern ob man über Surf-Sessions hinweg wiedererkennbar/verfolgbar ist. Der Tor-Browser, Mull oder auch Brave schneiden hierbei gut ab. Am Ende gilt aber auch: Lasst euch nicht verrückt machen. 😉

Bzgl. Grafiksoftware widerspreche ich deiner Aussage.
#scribus (Druck-Layout-Software) hat gerade wieder richtig Schwung in der Entwicklung aufgenommen und kann so ziemlich alles was man für Print-Produkte braucht.
@krita und @GIMP können so ziemlich alles was an Grafik-Bearbeitung geht.
Und für Vektor-Grafiken finde ich @inkscape sehr gut nutzbar.
Ich Frage mich ernsthaft, welche Funktion da angeblich immer fehlen soll?

If a computer is corrupted like that, it's wise to replace MS Windows. Better get rid of it's commercial tools and malicious routines with a Free GNU Operating System aka Linux. Sometimes it's necessary to replace an old harddisk with SSD, but each of those computers can run another decade with Free Software. That's good for our environment and what most of our gfkDSGN artists are working on.

Scribus, the free and open source page layout application (think Adobe InDesign) just had a big new release. I'd love to hear some real world usage stories by graphic arts/desktop publishing professionals that use Scribus on a regular basis. My time in that industry was so long ago QuarkXPress was the most popular page layout platform.
La prima notizia importante di questo 2024 è il rilascio (finalmente) dell'ultima versione stabile di Scribus, che inaugura il ramo 1.6. Il progetto è importante perché ritengo sia uno dei software più completi da usare in ambito didattico per insegnare editoria e uno strumento robusto per chiunque avesse necessità di produrre impaginati anche abbastanza complessi.
Tra le novità più interessanti: il supporto al markdown e a Krita.
