The song spent five weeks at number one on the R&B singles chart. It also peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. @arstechnica I guess we now live in an Era where making money in the short term is more important than preserving our Cultural legacy. Wondering if with those money #RIAA will donate everything to help new or struggling Artists.
Now the Washington lawyers want to destroy digital collections of scratchy 78rpm records, 70-120 year old, built by dedicated preservationists online since 2006.
