Mabel is super chill. She went from adjacency to cuddling, and didn't mind at all when I started feeling her teeth and gums and tongue. Ever since I got @lumi, I've been telling people "trying to understand a dog is like playing activity with a alien from outer space". Don't get me wrong, learning to read and understand canine body language is magical, but dogs think, communicate AND perceive the world very differently than us humans. What they hear or see we might have a clue perhaps, but what a dog smells is completely locked away from human perception, and smell is the most important sense for dogs.
If you ask a pup “when's the best time to have diarrhea?” the answer, apparently, is "on Saturday at 5AM ahead of an important family dinner and a weekend you were planning on getting out of town for hikes & stuff” 🫠 #pupdate#LumiTrip
