I’ve been painting #DnD minis the last week or so. Here’s a red slaad (that feels a little too monotone, I think), and a gorgon I started last night. #PaintingMiniatures
https://youtu.be/pmUneAqMP4w New video is up on YouTube. I show how I painted up my Gimli model. This video is useful for people who want some advice on painting fabric.
A fun project today painting up this Dwarf smoking a pipe. I had a lot of fun painting this up, and I'm really happy with how he came out, the colours were just as I was hoping they would be.
Another ebay rescue. A firewarrior was included in a job lot of model stuff.
A single firewarrior is not terribly useful, so I decided to turn it into an Ethereal.
First I had to fix the bad gluing and strip the paint.
Then I removed the grenade in his hand and built a glaive for him to hold.
And then added robes and a cloak (putty-covered metal sheet).
Paint was based on the Buddhist monk's reds and oranges.
Painted up something a bit different today. An Orc based on the ones from the Rings of Power. I know people have different opinions about the show, but most people seem to agree the Orcs are really cool.
Painted her up to match my multiped tank: Off-white and orange, and the blue matches the cockpit of the tank.
Bright anime hair worked with the aesthetic.
