The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old.
Bernadette came to PACC as a stray with severely broken bones to her paw pad. She had to have an amputation done on her leg and would like to recover in foster care. She is doing well and ready for a foster home!
Our shelter has been over-capacity for years. Over 500 dogs at all times, cats aplenty.
This is a message to the new dog adopters and those thinking about it, because #PACC is getting back lots of runaways.
Keep your new buddy safe by leashing them for the first couple of weeks getting used to your home.
Do not leave them alone outside, especially if there is even a tiny spot they can escape from. They’ll find it.
Take them around the neighborhood to learn the layout in case they do escape.
