Yo, check it out! I really dig this fresh, vibrant new look we’ve given Usage’s new app icon. Can you “feel” it? 📊🔋⚡️ #MadeWithSketch https://usage.pro
Hey, look! It’s 2012 again!
It felt good to make this widget design for McClockface a tribute to the golden days!
Legal notice: No real animals were used in the creation of these graphics. #MadeWithSketch
Delighted to share the new app icon for Coach Board! I especially like how the whistle hangs out of the drawer, adding a nice little detail to the icon. #MadeWithSketch
today i present to you my concept for a modular music player. i wanted it to be a very haptic experience with buttons, a wheel for volume control and some tiny LEDs as a battery indicator. the left half is a detachable touch screen. if you do so, it can serve as a small control display for your streaming at home. the right half can still be used on the go as a shuffle device.
this was my first attempt at developing a product design idea by myself. hope you like it! 💛
Alright, here we go! I’m delighted to show the app icon for Owncasts 📺
The iOS icon was already fun, but what’s even cooler is that we designed a dedicated tvOS icon for it. That means it’s a PARALLAX APP ICON! 🤩 #AppIcon#MadeWithSketch
Happy Halloween! 🎃
Super excited to show the spooky alternative app icon for Dex! Although the main object is a pumpkin, there are also some Pokémon-related Easter eggs. Can you spot ’em all? 🧐 #MadeWithSketch#AppIcon#Halloween
The very talented Wayne Roger recreated a Dieter Rams clock, but can you guess which is the real deal, and which was made with Sketch? Let us know your guesses 👀
“Prepare for the Unfork-gettable.” 🍴📊
I am happy to present some alternative app icons for @foodnoms. The first question was how the existing icon could look like in 3D. The result shows the bar graph with a subtle but noticeable perspective. #MadeWithSketch
“Locking in Style” 🔐📈
Here comes the new app icon for VaultValue. Two things we liked particularly well:
First, the two halves form a “V”.
Second, if you read from left to right, the icon reflects the name—Vault on the left, Value on the right. #MadeWithSketch https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vaultvalue/id1591253739
“Hoop, There It Is” 🏀
I am very excited to share the app icon for Elite Hoops from @jordanmorgan. It was important for us to stay close to the branding while creating something new for the icon. And boy, does the icon look good on the home screen! So stay tuned! #MadeWithSketch https://www.swiftjectivec.com/Introducing-Elite-Hoops/
The other day I was wondering what Home screen widgets would look like in an iOS 6 theme. So I took the #SketchDesignChallenge as an opportunity to try out the concept.
Had the itch to work my Avatars project some more. This weekend I worked on Wolverine. I’ve tried to create him a few times now, being an all time favourite of mine, but he never worked out.
I think I’ve done him justice this time. Could be a project in itself with all his different costumes… 🤔
One thing that was unfortunately missing from all of the amazing announcements at this year’s WWDC is the introduction of a standalone “Passwords” app.
I think putting this feature front and center instead of burying it in Settings could really help the user experience and improve discoverability.
I made a quick mockup in Sketch to illustrate that this could be achieved with surprisingly little work. Here’s hoping they do this soon! 🤞
Joining the bandwagon here. I made my own version of Clear’s app icon too. Idea was to try something cozy and fun as a homage of the good ol’ days of handcrafted iOS design.
