Am Samstag demonstrierten in Kiel ca. 70 Menschen anlässlich des ersten internatinalen Tags gegen Kreuzfahrt auf dem Land und auf dem Wasser gegen den Kreufahrttourismus.
Beginn der Landdemo war auf dem Platz der Matrosen neben dem Hauptbahnhof. Also genau da, wo die Kreuzfahrttouristinnen in Kiel ankommen und auf den Shuttle zum Schiff warten, ein Umstand der zu einigen Diskussionen mit den Touristinnen führte. Nach zwei Redebeiträgen startet unsere Demo.
Über das Sophienblatt ging es weiter durch die Fußgängerinnenzone und dem Düsternbrooker Weg bis zum Landtag und an der Kiellinie zurück zum Ostseekai. Dort endete unsere Demo direkt in Sicht- und Hörweite zur AIDA Nova, einem der größten Kreuzfahrtschiffe der Welt. Am Rande der Demo wurden Flyer verteilt und es kam immer wieder zu kurzen Gesprächen mit Passantinnen mit sowohl positiven als auch kritschen Reaktionen auf unsere Demo.

The new rhetoric is significantly less sure of its lies... but don't be fooled, if you go to their website, they still have the original lie "BCLNG WILL Reduce Global emissions” prominently displayed. So they're still liars, and I'll still call them so!
Was it all because of the brief (5hr) protest action?

My cup overflows with anger toward these lying, deceiving, murderous, oil and gas companies. So this morning, I did something I've never done before in hopes the people coming home from their long weekends in Tofino and Ucluelet get the message.
