I have to agree 100% with #JeremyCorbyn on this. Our leaders are all disgracefully leading us to war. Shameful especially in the west where it’s not our children being blown to pieces. I just wish the people of the democracies would wake up & chuck out the warmongers by the ballot box, & the people of the autocracies would rise up & overthrow theirs, whether Hamas, Putin or Iran
"Several polls in recent months have indicated that around 70% of people in the UK want an immediate ceasefire, and there are weekly demonstrations in towns and cities across the country in support of Palestinians. Organisers of a march in London last week estimated that up to 400,000 people had gathered to demand an end to the violence. These protests receive minimal coverage in the mainstream media, bar senior Conservatives labelling the peaceful crowds as ‘hate mobs’. The government maintains strong support for Israel, continuing to sell arms and share intelligence with the country, as well as allowing it to use RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus as a support base – a position Labour has largely agreed with. This leaves a huge gap in political representation, at least from the biggest two parties, for swathes of people nationwide." We just learnt that #SouthAfrica expects to include #JeremyCorbyn in its delegation to The Hague, when it challenges Israel on #Gaza genocide on Thursday and Friday.
Yes, the former UK Labour leader who is associated with antisemitism.
No, we don't know why the SA government chose to name him, and only him, among the foreign supporters due to join the SA government delegation.
How the Israel-Palestine War Is Shifting the Political Dynamics in Britain
In line with the US, the entire British ‘political establishment’ has openly sided with Israel. Conversely, over the last two months, there has been a surge in protests and demonstrations led by diverse groups, with the stance on the conflict causing discontent within political parties.
People Used Anything To Attack Me says Jeremy Corbyn
The former #UK#Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has many informed ideas about social justice & sustainability. But, he of course wasn't popular in the #capitalist#Neoliberal media machine.
This is your reminder that The Guardian is simply another tool of the ruling class, is corrupt to the core and paved the way for Starmers purge-a-thon.
It is the "reasonable" voice that lashes out at actual socialists, its job is to corral liberals into conformity.
@morgfair and yet the @guardian is enabling rightwing plutocrats at every turn ( #SirKidStarver for starters!)
THEY Sabotaged #jeremycorbyn before last general election, charge led by @pollytoynbee
I dont believe the @guardian is a friend to the #ClimateCrisis or to #workersrights or any potential #realsocialist party
They're a talking shop for no action
DONT put your trust in the @guardian they're soft on everything, except real socialism, granite blocks from a great height on that concept!
Never sure how much weight to put into the results of a #YouGov poll 🗳️ but it's very funny to see that #JeremyCorbyn is still (?) the most popular politician in the #UnitedKingdom 🇬🇧
The top five are all #Labour 🔴 politicians and the current Prime Minister, #RishiSunak 🔵 sits in sixth place.
#JeremyCorbyn said, "The state would take control of water, electricity, gas and railway operators, as well as the Royal Mail and the Royal Bank of Scotland if Labour wins power."
In light of this, #ThamesWater then added a clause to its bonds to ensure holders are repaid immediately should it be nationalised.
"Labour suspends Diane Abbott in attempt to stifle fresh antisemitism row. MP loses party whip after writing letter suggesting Jewish, Irish, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people had not experienced racism"
This after the Corbyn years and 'that' mural. Have the left in Labour learnt nothing?
