Clever intricate diagnosis and remedial work by spacecraft engineers has restored the telemetry transmission functionality of the Voyager 1 probe, 22+ light-hours from Earth. They hope soon to have it returning science data on the Interstellar Medium.

Like Voyager 2, Voyager 1 was launched FORTY-SIX YEARS ago.

Seems like this was the best value-for-money Extended Warranty ever offered.

Everything went splendid 😀 I was a bit afraid how the charging would work out, we had no issues at all. Mostly using #Ionity, some #Tesla #Supercharger to improve coverage near the end; one #EnBW in Germany.

#CumbreVieja this a little odd #LavaBomb - the product of an #eruption. We think it looks due to #weathering like a #FirCone😻

Today it's #VolcanoThursday & I have more from Simbalitos #GrandTour in #Iceland. One day it was raining #cat's & #dogs & only indoor #hedgewatch was possible. So we visited the #lavacentre a museum . They explain about #volcano's, #lava etc. & have a great movie.
