For #MountainMonday I have this photograph of Mount Cheam (Lhílheqey) from Agassiz, BC. A nice fall day with the combination of autumn foliage and a bit of fresh snow in the mountains.
I don't always get much snow around here, and it often doesn't stick, or is just to deep for me to get out and photograph. So I made the best of this opportunity last year to photograph the snow outlining all these branches here in the Fraser Valley. The same scene without snow lacks any of these details and is just a lot of chaos.
John Randle, regional president of the Union of #Canadian#Correctiona Officers says staff at the Mountain Institution in #Agassiz are exhausted from handling the “non-stop” drone drops and #overdoses among inmates.
A small waterfall on the side of Sumas Mountain in the #FraserValley of #BritishColumbia. I visited this spot because I saw a small trail leading off the side of the road near a creek and was a bit surprised to see 3 nice waterfalls in the area!
