I once went to the San Diego Zoo, and they had a display of primates, and I learned they liked to fling poo at people. It reminded me very much of political debates. Since I don't like watching poop thrown (or participating in being hit with poo), I avoid both monkeys and political debates.
@ai6yr So my grandfather was an alcoholic. Apparently, back in the day, they used to make the drunks work off their fines or arrests by working at the zoo. In my grandfather‘s case, it was cleaning the monkey exhibit. Apparently, there was one monkey who used to give him fits by throwing poop at him or against the walls. My grandfather would in turn spray that monkey with the hose when the zookeepers weren’t around or otherwise busy and not paying attention. My mom loved telling us that story every time we’d go to the zoo. Ah… #FamilyBonding#Memories
