Worked some on my #SimPit this morning. Turns out I had a bug with my Websockets that resulted in a new connection on each message exhausting socket resources very fast when ship telemetry comes flooding in (like it is with e.g. with #FlyDangerous)
Was out on a mining trip in #EliteDangerous afterwards to test some of the new features. Very satisfied with the result - and ~12.200.000 Cr richer due to some core mining 😁

@bitflipped two of my favorite screenshots that I've used as my desktop backgrounds for aaaages (from an expedition I was doing with a few other people), this was on the horizons launch day in 2015. You can get such cool shots in elite.
(the expedition was to ritualistically feed ourselves to the black hole, hence the cheap ships, but it ended in a bust, there's an invisible wall that prevented you, your ship just stops :/ )
Doing some #linux testing for the future as we're getting new ships in #EliteDangerous.
Brought out my Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X and plugged it into my USB. Tested, and yes, it's seen. And yes it has drivers. And yes, it registers all buttons. (see video if you are a geek like that).
VA is one of those things that requires quite a bit of the MS ecosystem, but it's on my list to test. I'd love to figure it out properly because I adore HCS voice packs and I want my ship cat and Brian Blessed back.
As for LinVAM, I've seen it mentioned but it doesn't seem to be maintained. Maybe I'll find a few forks or something. Either way, the beauty of testing!
How is it with controller? I don't think I could do anything in #EliteDangerous without a Hotas.

I made a Mini #EliteDangerous in #PICO8. Right now you can scoop fuel, jump between systems and do fetch missions at space stations. Now all I need to do is adding about 200 billion star systems to the database.
