Dabei habe ich gar nicht vor, ein #Cargobike anzuschaffen: Das #Brompton mit Fronttasche, Gepäckträger und meinem #CroozerCargo reicht mir eigentlich schon. Und ich habe auch schon zähl 5 Velos (3× Liegevelo, 2× Brompton) und 2 Veloanhänger.
An die #Brompton-Bubble: wie verstaut ihr unterwegs eure Ortlieb-Packtasche? Suche eine Möglichkeit meine Vario PS während der Fahrt am Rad zu befestigen, weil ich ungern mit Rucksack radel. Die extra Brompton-Taschen mag ich nicht, ist mir für den Alltag zu unpraktisch.
Gibt es irgendwo passende Frontracks, so wie dieses hier? Eine horizontale Ablage brauche ich nicht.

I got my #Brompton exactly a year ago. With this anniversary, I took it out into the wonderful autumn forest. What a joy it was to dive through the colourful leaves! After 6000 km, my Brompton has become a trusted partner in all forms of crimes. My newest fun is to treat ourselves with some short mountainbike-like trail sections, which I try to master in super slow motion. It feels like being an artist in a circus, albeit nobody watching. The Brompton seems to like such treats.

Deswegen heute Abend schnell zum #Transa in die Stadt geradelt zum beides austesten. Trotzdem meinte der Verkäufer beim Anblick meiner Fronttasche, dass diese doch schon recht voll sei. Was fahren denn Brommifahrende im Winter so, wenn noch keine Bedingungen für den 'Marathon Winter' herrschen, die üblichen Straßenreifen aber ein mulmiges Gefühl bereiten?
After checking to ride to the top with car, decided to ride today. Didn't feel like 70kmh winds, but there's strong cold gusts. No ice and sunny weather
I cycled from canfranc-estacion to bedous. Once connected by rail. Bud sadly not anymore.
It's about 38km, 529m climbing, 1310m down.
I'm cycling on a electric c-line brompton, 44 teeth front, 6 speed.
Heading home. So proud of us. At 4:30 pm—1h before event start—our tool hauler called: no power @ the storage space, can’t get tools, bike, & trailer. She drove to 2 board members’ houses to borrow tools & we got the word out to our leader corps to bring whatever they had. And we did it! We got 20 #volunteers w < 24h notice. Can’t wait to share the before/after pics w y’all.
Did a brompton test ride today, they do ride super nice. But do wonder how it will function in mountain areas or longer distances with backpack. can't really test that before getting one. 🤷♀️
With a regular bike, I consider going electric, but that's a massive price difference and adds 6kg. #brompton

La forme un peu tordue c'est pour que ça ne touche pas la fourche en position pliée. C'est tricky un Brompton...

Wer hat Tipps für richtig gute Schutzbleche für das #Brompton? Die Standards sind aus meiner Sicht unzureichend, sind zu kurz nach vorn auf dem Rad und innen mit falschem Wasserlauf, trotz extra Lappen. Hinten sind sie für jeden Follower ein Tritt. Im Web finde ich eher ähnliche Schutzbleche mit Fokus Design, nicht Schutz vor Wasser.
Wie macht ihr das eigentlich, wenn ihr mit dem #Brompton zu Arztpraxis/Krankenhaus fahrt? Irgendwo stehen lassen (habe üblicherweise kein Schloss dabei) oder mit durch alle Räume tragen? Finde es (noch) etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig es überall mit hin zu nehmen...😁
#30DaysOfBiking, Day 21: Took part in the mass bicycle tour #slowUp#Ticino (https://slowup.ch/ticino/) with the #Brompton. I rode 52.4km according to the Garmin GPS. Officially it's a 50km round course between #Locarno and #Bellinzona. Took me 4h45min including all breaks. Needed the e-assist more often than expected due partially hefty wind. It had around 15 degrees C, though. So temperature-wise it was a comfortable ride. There were surely several thousand cyclists taking part in the event.
