BBC editorial policy director David Jordan admits that the BBC made a 'mistake' in choosing to show Israel's defence against genocide charges in full – despite only showing clips of South Africa's arguments to the opposite at the select committee on Wednesday. Curious timing. Wasn't that the same day the US announced its ceasefire motion at the UN, swiftly followed by the nodding dogs in Westminster and Brussels? 🤨 🙄
Seems @kayeadams thinks the Tories are a distinct race or ethnic minority. She compares the slogans of competing political parties with Nazi genocide!!
Sadly, she is supporting a party that condones genocide in Gaza and advocates deportations of "undesirables" to the camps.
The #BBC continues their attacks on the democratically elected Scottish government. The anti-SNP drive goes on.
Labour can save a fortune on electioneering when the #BBCScotland put this sort of thing on the front page.
Where's the balance? #ScottishIndependence#BBCbias#DefundtheBBC
I'd probably have more sympathy - or should I say none to minimal - for those farmers AND fishermen who voted Leave if they actually admitted they were wrong.
@JackTheCat of course the number of people who remember differently has changed - one way. But then, it was the NE pelagic fishermen who got all the attention (controlled by four families), West coast inshore not at all.
Viewers were quick to point out the “blatant contrast” with one writing: “Kate Forbes is trying ably to get her points across on #bbcqt – clearly and coherently. Despite constantly being interrupted by Fiona Bruce.
"Such a very blatant contrast to her demeanour towards other panel members. Shockingly biased.”
"At one point, the former finance secretary [Kate Forbes] asked if she “could just get to the point here” and Bruce proceeded to interrupt her for the fourth time. Oh, and the show had only been running for four minutes.
"Forbes was interrupted by Bruce when talking about the Covid inquiry, her WhatsApps, her role as finance secretary, public services, everything really."
With the media obsession about deleted Whatsapp messages, it’s surprising that the BBC don’t seem to have reported this admission from Alister Jack. It would be embarrassing for DRoss if it became widely known considering his outrage that Scottish Government Ministers deleted their messages. No doubt the impartial BBC will get around to reporting it eventually. #BBCBias

I think I might have shared this yesterday but I've forgotten. Anyway, here it is again. It's probably worth reading twice, but that's your decision 🤷♀️ 😂
Prospect: "How the government captured the BBC
A right-wing cabal, largely unaccountable, is waging war on the principles that made our public broadcaster great. It must not succeed"
Just another day of #BBCbias, feeding the unionist propaganda machine.
"...Ms Sturgeon is accused of "playing politics" when she should have been focusing on public health. This is an allegation she has always strongly denied.
The specific charge is that she sought divergence with the UK government for political ends - to appear more compassionate, more cautious and, well, more Scottish."
I suppose I should say no more, Kuenssberg, 💩🤢🤮 But the BBC have excelled themselves here - possibly thinking that including Norther England made it right. A group of Conservative voters represented as ‘the face of Britain’.
Losing Alan Rusbridger was the worst thing that ever happened to the Guardian.

Maybe, just maybe, there's a half decent presenter on Today: Mishal Husain became the first ever interviewer I have heard to confront a serving British Minister, Grant Shapps, about genocidal quotes from Israeli Ministers. "I had not heard those sort of comments from Ministers." Husain reads out those sort of comments from Israeli Ministers including Prime Minister Netanyahu. Shapps admits the comments were not acceptable."

The main thing in this article is actually how few corrections BBC Scotland put out. Given their highly biased reporting of pretty much anything to do with Scotland, I’d have expected more. As it is, they issue more corrections than all other regional broadcast stations combined, which shows just how inaccurate their reporting is. Do not trust the BBC. #Scotland#BBC#BBCBias BBC Scotland corrects more errors than other BBC UK branches combined https://www.thenational.scot/news/24008161.bbc-scotland-corrects-errors-bbc-uk-branches-combined/?ref=rss

This might interest you. A complaint against BBC Scotland (the 7th one in recent months) for a broadcast on 2nd September has been upheld but they've refused an on-air apology.
