"U.S. President Joe Biden was due to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Paris on Friday as Kyiv’s army endures its hardest days of fighting since the early weeks of the war with Russia and prepares for what officials say could be a tough summer ahead."
The U.S. Senate passed a major foreign aid package Tuesday that includes a provision that could lead to a ban on TikTok after a monthslong back and forth with the House over the assistance for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
CBS News reports: "The package includes $60.8 billion in aid for Ukraine, $26.4 billion to support Israel, along with humanitarian aid for Gaza, and $8.1 billion for allies in the Indo-Pacific." President Biden is expected to sign the bill today.
