I got my first AI generated voicemail last night. It used my name and everything, pretending to be my dad. (He did not accept my transition back in the day, so it was immediately obvious)
If you thought the robocall waves were bad, just wait.
@Haste Yeah, this AI stuff is going to get bad... I'm not there yet, but soon I'll be doubting the legitimacy of any call I receive. And that includes calls from from people, I never get calls from.
Here's a red flag: If the president calls, it's fake as heck.
@rlstone4dems@Haste IDK about you but there has never been a point in my life where if someone called me claiming to be the POTUS I would not think it was fake. ;-)
