It's total eclipse day in North America. My house is a mere 12 miles from the path of totality.
Told my boss today, "Which will I regret worse when someday my life flashes before my eyes? Missing a couple hours at work, or missing this?"
He said, "Say hi to Zuul for me when it passes over."
(My workplace isn't perfect, but my boss is a very good person.)
