The most important thing to say about fascism is that America has already had it and you know for whom. And the ways it happened look remarkably like MAGA. And MAGA’s ambitions have extended to the subjugation of anyone who doesn’t favor their domination.
And we know the way that fascism creeps in America is the Supreme Court makes it all legal. And one way that keeps happening is that there’s not enough pushback from enough Americans who actually believe in democracy.

The only people I know IRL who aren’t screaming with outrage are Republicans. ALL the accounts I see on Fedi are outraged. All the women we hear from on TV/cable are outraged. That Pres. Biden’s campaign can raise $26 million in one night, as well as having a massive war chest already in place, indicates to me that Americans (at least blue Americans) ARE outraged & actively opposing Trump. Dems are winning special elections & flipping seats. MSNBC couldn’t be more virulently anti-Trump.
I think where we get the impression of apathy is from MSM, which has a vested interest in profitable Trump tax breaks.
If we can overcome gerrymandered Districts & MAGA-GOP voting shenanigans, AND GET A LARGE TURNOUT, we can save America.
