I’m watching “Dangerous Beauty” and it’s one of those movies my fifteen-year-old self ADORES and can hear no criticism of and also the accents make NO sense.
Dialogue sample: “You have the feigned indifference of a man in love. Go on, son. Tell the truth and shame the devil.” From the man who played Reese Witherspoon’s dad in Sweet Home Alabama in a film set in fifteenth-century Venice!
It’s such a theater kid movie! 🍿 Reader, I have the feigned indifference of a man in love with this movie.
Except I don’t because I am not feigning indifferent I’m shouting at you that I love this movie and it’s probably not good and it’s still amazing. I have zero perspective on it!
