I am not here to defend #georgegalloway, as he is indefensible, but I am seeing reference made to his amateur dramatic interpretation of a cat on Celebrity Big Brother, followed by comments, such as, "can politics get any worse".
This isn't politics' lowest ebb. To the best of our knowledge he hasn't even put his flopper in a porker yet.
George Galloway's victory as an independent is what you get when the opposition don't field a credible candidate, because it is a focus group numbers game.
