That confirms for me, my family & friends here that their council doesn't give a shit about their cops violating our #HumanRights but they're concerned about #BadPR 👎

For those new to my feed - quick backgrounder.
June 8, late night, called 911 because Dad stopped breathing & requested paramedics help. 1st 911 dispatcher was incompetent(ongoing investigation on that) & sent cops to our home.
First cops who arrived determined it was medical call & cops weren't needed. #Saanich#PoliceUnion president was lead cop here & he refused to leave our property. He's an #antimasker & impeded paramedics.
My Dad died from long covid cardiac complications only hours after.
My last update from BC emergency communications department is that the dispatcher is not allowed to work any 911 lines & there is active investigation going on.
@JoBlakely Maybe #Saanich white ppl will learn better on how to fight back for people they love too or not because most white people never do full time caregiving & have NO FUCKING IDEA what it includes. They tend to warehouse their elders.
@JoBlakely Yup. Yet some have the fucking nerve to try to tell me to do things differently. Fuck those people who never sacrificed much from their lives to be real caregivers. Seriously, I wonder how those folks would manage if no beds were available in LTCs for YEARS & they actually had to do FT caregiving for their elderly parents for undetermined times. Would they sacrifice their parents to MAiD so they could be less inconvenienced? Likely. We don't do that!

I’m so disgusted by what happened to your Dad, you, and your family.
My son and I (I’m disabled myself) were the full time caretakers for my husband with FTD dementia for over 10 years after he was diagnosed. We were also his full time caretakers before he got diagnosed.
I had a “silent” stroke during that period of time.
It’s so draining to be a caretaker when you can’t even care for yourself. Not to mention the stress levels.
Maybe because I refused to stop complaints & am going to escalate actions because #Saanich & #SaanichMayor thinks ignoring me will make me go away/give up.
Mayor & #SaanichCouncil have NO IDEA how much Teochew Taoists are committed for justice. By ignoring us - it enrages us & enrages larger Chinese & Asian communities. We aren't submissive. We are definitely smarter & sneakier on our public actions.

@msquebanh I finished watching the videos, I feel solidarity with you... You are like me. When stressed, I cant keep my voice down. I get told to stop yelling, I cant, I try to hard, and this yelling comes out of me just like yours when stressed and when trying to have my voice reach people at a distance, I get cops called by neighbor for "screaming" Cops arent here to help me! They took me to abusive lock ups!

She tried to ask to use the bathroom several times in a whisper, and the nurse said she had to speak up, then the old lady said in her non whisper voice "I have to go to the bathroom" and nurse immediately goes into bossy mood "ok you are going to the white room for screaming" barks the nurse.

@msquebanh And the old lady says "sonnofabitch" as the nurse grabs her amr and escorts her to the white room where the toilet is the floor. The kind old lady smelled of shit and pee because she wasnt able to use the toilets because all the toilets were behind lock and key and unbending policies!
So neighbor I have issue with, I ned to let her know how painful I feel when she brings her dog near my home and wakes me up and triggers my ptsd...

I'm talking softly, because I dont want them to call the cops on me again.

Like, I cant trust my dentists to be safe for me because they relaxed their mask mandates, nobody relaxed seatbelt mandates, or drunk driving... why are they doing this with covid?! I somehwat blame these people who insist upon "positivity" which deny the reality of a world-wide plague.

Neighbors call the cops because you were "screaming"? Golly, sounds like what happened to me too. I aint screaming. I'm freaking out in severe stress over deadly situations! Why anyone thinks I shouldn't scream when my life is on the line, is a thought process I cant fathom. Cops just make things worse for me, they dont help, they would drive me to lock up where I am abused for not sticking to standard policies of behavior.
@GreenRoc They couldn't lock me up. I'm still in longtime ongoing #HumanRights fight & because they fucked up horrifically on night my Dad died - I am not stopping the heat.

It has been almost a year long battle for justice, so far. We are up against a huge system with a lot of money for lawyers & it is just our small family going up against them.
