Other features that are coming in handy are CSS variables and filter (especially invert, contrast and hue-shift).

@thomasfuchs My experience, !important always comes back to bite me after a while (although I definitely see how it's often the most straightforward option on a legacy codebase).

Abstracting out to CSS variables can be tedious, but I think it's generally worth the effort.

@robby1066 fwiw especially for colors switching to css variables isn’t too bad with a project search and replace
