Below, we see Stede and Ed, both nude, the water from the first page now serving as a backdrop. Stede is reclining, propped up on one elbow. His other hand is buried in Ed's long, wavy hair, which flows freely down Ed's back, curling at the ends. Stede looks up at Ed with a sweet smile on his face and a blush on his cheek. Ed is sitting up and smiling down adoringly at Stede, his own cheeks just as flushed. One of Ed's hands is cradling Stede's cheek while the other lies gently on Stede's chest.
Page 3, with three panels. Behind them, the water flows gently down before dissolving into just wavy black lines on a white background. The first panel shows Stede's hand on Ed's chest, just below the hawk tattoo on his collarbone. In the second panel, Ed leans in to kiss Stede, placing one hand on the side of Stede's neck to bury his fingers in Stede's curls. The third panel has the pair pulling apart slightly, their lips parted and eyes still closed. Ed is grinning slightly, his cheek flushed an even deeper red now. Stede seems to be chasing Ed's lips and has tangled fingers in Ed's hair again.
Page 4: three panels on a white background with stars at the bottom left. In the first panel, Stede surges forward to kiss Ed again. Ed's hair now surrounds them both, his curls draped across Stede's shoulder and over Stede's back. Ed's lower lip looks red and kiss-bitten. His hands hover in mid-air, one above Stede's shoulder and the other above his back. The second panel shows Stede's hand stroking Ed's lower back, just below the tattoo that reads 'trust no one'. In the third panel, we see Ed's hands caress Stede's back.
