My blog: https://there.oughta.be/a/wooden-game-boyPhoto of the CNC machining process. A block of wood on the wooden bed of a CNC router is already showing the recognizable design of the backside of a Game Boy. A spinning fine end mill is drilling into a part of the battery compartment. The wood is noticably brighter than the finished Game Boy as it has not yet been oiled.
Photo of the dark brown wooden Game Boy with white buttons and white screen bezel ist standing on a white surface with a dark blurred backdrop. It shows the title screen of Tetris. To the left and right are wooden Game Boy cartridges. The left one has the same color as the Game Boy and has a carved label reading "Pokemon Walnut version". The other one is made of brighter wood and reads "Pokemon Oak version".
Detail shot of the power switch at the top of the wooden Game Boy. The shot also shows the white screen bezel and the detailed decorative lines that are part of the recognizable design of the original Game Boy.
