Massive Incineration
A strong track record counts for a lot in underground metal, particularly when a band disappears for over a decade. VOMIT THE SOUL could easily have been just another footnote in the never-ending history of brutal death metal, but their 2005 debut album "Portraits Of Inhuman Abominations" was suffic...
@TheMetalDog Annoying muffled 'poing poing' drum sound in the foreground of the mix, almost drowning out the guitars, makes the first single a very tiring affair to listen to. The whole mix is smeared shut anyway. Pity.

@TheMetalDog Heh... Beside Jack Owen, they also recruited Cannibal Corpse's go-to cover artist. Is it a rip-off or well executed (hee hee) tongue-in-cheek challenge? 😆
The first #DeathMetal song I listened to (excluding Corpse playing Hammer Smashed Face I Ace Ventura) when I was 15 was Death's Evil Dead. What was your first? #HeavyMetal
I am home alone tonight. I have queued up hours worth of #DeathMetal sets on YouTube and have a fridge full of beer. Gonna have my own festival. Fletchival
Okay, guess I should do a #introduction, hopefully I do this correctly.
I'm a trans undergraduate philosophy student. I hope to post about music (right now I've been listening to #dreampop and #deathmetal) and also about the stuff I'm reading.
One of my favorite new bands playing old school Floridian death metal. These kids wear their influences in their sleeves. Early Death, Obituary, Malevolent Creation, etc.
