The only complaint I have with this headline is that it says Trump’s policies “may” raise prices.
Trump’s policies absolutely will increase prices. His protectionist, mercantilist ideas about the economy will lead to more tariffs which will be paid for by the average American.
To be fair, Biden hasn’t been as free-trade as I’d have hoped he would be, but Trump is decidedly worse in this category.

However, if you look at the US public transportation system until the mid 1960’s, it was there.
On that note, it’s worth bringing up that Los Angeles, a city known for its horrible traffic conditions, once had the largest electric rail system in the world before it was completely eliminated in favor of the gridlocked highways it has now.
One the other, I understand why people are forced to drive under desperate circumstances to get to work, doctors appointments, etc. because public transit in most places is so bad it’s worthless.
The whole "retail theft" wave is a moral panic anyway. It's not backed up by numbers. NYC and LA saw some elevation because of a small number of actual criminal organization that largely got rounded up and prosecuted. Most other "organized retail crime" stories are utter nonsense.
Most of the rise in theft that people cited was based on a completely bullshit statistic which came from the NRF citing one of its own members testimonies in which that member cited an incorrect number. It was actual dogfooding being passed as statistical analysis and even they have backed down on it.
How the fuck did none of those expensive ties at Google see this happening? Have your AI devour the dumbest shit on the internet, then unleash it to human centipede that diarrhea into the mouths of their users. “Elite” is a fucking joke, ya’ll are just as fucken stupid as the rest of us.
It was at a political fundraiser; people there are supposed to be US citizens are have a green card (or be working as staff). So it was probably mainly the US oil companies, but they actively cooperate with overseas ones to push up prices.
A Russian court has ordered that Deutsche Bank’s and Commerzbank’s assets, accounts, property and shares be seized in Russia as part of a lawsuit involving the German banks, court documents showed.
The banks were among the guarantor lenders under a contract for the construction of a gas processing plant in Russia with Germany’s Linde, which was terminated due to Western sanctions.
Im not gonna cry for any company that did not extricate itself since crimea. There have been butloads of time and a goodly amount to do it slowly and slyly.
You say this, but then I used to read r/justrolledintotheshop. People outright fail at substituting engine oil for engine oil from time to time. The kind of person that would try applesauce probably wouldn’t be doing more self harm than otherwise.
