Yay! My prismatic window film arrived so I get to make my bedroom rainbow-y while keeping the neighbors from being able to see inside if I want my curtains and blinds open.
It used to be hilarious when a 3 minute vid would have some 45 minute preroll ad placement some poor fool had paid for. Of course I skipped it, at least you could then.
You want your ads seen? Make them short and to the point. They will still work with your target audience without alienating the possible converts.
@Binder@Chancerubbage I really find it hard to believe that any ad that interrupts a video actually works. Honestly it gives me a more negative view of the advertisers.
I keep reading stuff on #Bluesky about people complaining about their #Mastodon server being down or buggy so they'd rather go to Bluesky... But like.... You can change servers.... I don't understand. I guess they're both equal of sorts in that way.
Bluesky servers go down too. All servers go down at some point. This is nothing new.
A good cup of tea really is one of the best things I can do daily for my mental health. Currently enjoying a ginger tea and it is so relaxing.
I'm proud of myself for doing my laundry with little to no self nagging.
I 3D printed a laundry detergent cup holder that attaches to the jug and keeps the spout from dripping all over the place and instead drips into the cup for later use. I love functional 3D prints that make life just a tiny bit easier.
I had a very nice relaxing evening at home. Talked to Dad, played with Howie, watched TV.
Dad is coming in tomorrow since my car is going to the shop for an engine light. I won't be stuck at the dealership all day nor will I be alone. I'm very thankful that I'll be able to also get lunch. I also get the day off work because of it.
Freshly washed sheets on the bed. One of my favorite things in the world.
