I created a #python script to generate a custom #emulationstation collection of all 5-star #retrogaming games present on #steamdeck. this is a great way to have the best games easily at hand, especially when using large collections.
@harrybo93 thank you for letting us know! I’m sorry it’s being so much of an issue. May I ask what type of phone you are using (iOS vs Android) and I’ll pass along the issue to our web dev to correct it.
Even with Google's algorithm changes and AI taking over, we are proud to still be independent, even if it's significantly harder. In the end, we are surviving, and it's all thanks to you:
@rotopenguin I don’t mind the cycling through tabs, I’d understand that, it’s the inability to easily do that which makes it an issue. It’s something simple like making B go out of menus or allowing yourself to spin a lock backwards and forwards.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was ported over to PC with enhanced features, and it is awesome! So, here's a guide on how to set it up on the #SteamDeck to enjoy on the go:
Did you know that you can now access your Epic Games library on your #SteamDeck easily and cleanly without needing to go to Desktop Mode? Here is our guide on the Junk-Store Decky Plugin!
I'd argue that the 'Verified' system was already a bit of a mess.
It should mean that the game runs, and runs to a pretty solid level on Deck.
It doesn't mean that at all. It's an absolutely horrible way to work out if your #SteamDeck can play a game and at this point I've stopped using it as a guide. ProtomDB or @steamdeckhq for me.
@danielholt thank you for including us as one of the two sources you check for how games actually run on Deck! We feel the same way about the Verified system. It’s a nice concept, but the execution isn’t accurate and their reasoning changes based on the game.
@spinning_bird@danielholt I’m not sure exactly, though my big issue with the system is the “Unsupported” label more than anything else. So many games with that badge work so well!
